If The Light

"If the light that is in you be darkness how great is that darkness?" Luke 11:35

Did you ever really sit down and consider this statement:  If the light that is in you, the greatest source of revelation and hope and expectation is just not working as it used to: if the moment by moment relationship has become a dry religious 3- times- a -week system then this article is for you:

A new born babe is nurtured moment by moment by the closeness and warmth and affirmation of the mother as well as by milk every 2 hours or as often as it needs it: There was a time when you and I were nurtured on the pure sincere milk of the Word and we co-ed and gurgled and felt so safe and so wanted. Then gradually over months or years something happened to rob us of that closeness and simplicity. What was it? In the words of Hillary Clinton: "What Happened?"

You may now think I'm no longer a babe, I'm an adult: I don't need that childhood closeness and warmth: I have studied Theology and Church structures  "the purpose driven" evangelism: That's fine but there was no need of all that when you were almost at one with Christ: people noticed and longed for what you had: They stopped you in the streets and in Cafés, they hungered and thirsted for the relationship that was filling your every moment and meeting all the desires of your heart:How many are stopping you now? So what happened?

What exactly was that light that was in you?
Where was it lost along the way? Do I really really want it back?
Is this article for you for if its not then better stop reading for the moment.

Is there a system that has taken over your life: A system that has usurped that precious closeness of early days: A system that has now invaded all your thinking about Christ: A system that has made itself indispensable?  What is that system? Who is behind it? Are you now just faithful to that system and no longer faithful to Christ? Did that system die for you --personally? how could you be so blind:

Paul said: "Oh foolish Galatians who has bewitched you?"  Strong language:

Some I'm sure listened to his admonitions and found the old ways again: Others paid no heed and lost even the little spark of joy and freshness remaining:

and so I need your prayers today
that the gentleleness of Christ would guide my way
as I seek to explain, over and over again .. 
" there now remains a 168 hour weekly rest
for all the homeless sons of men!"


And even three quarters of a million Sundays after Constantine
I still refuse the lie,  that 14% of my week belongs to God
and 86%  to going on my own and not so merry religious way

We need deliverance (salvation) from both  the works of the flesh and the works of the soul

in order to see the finished work of the Cross of Christ

 The works of religion are often the greatestbarriers which prevent us from conforming to the humility of Jesus Christ.

"Religious" people never trust in the finished work of Christ and therefore
cannot enter the "rest" from dead works that they might enter into the
"labor of the Lord." The word "religion" comes from two Latin words
"re"=return and "ligare"=to bind (see ligate, ligation, ligature). Religion
causes us to produce works which bind us to self-righteousness rather and
blind us to our hypocrisy. RELATIONSHIP with Christ continually reminds us
of the fact that apart from Him, we can do NOTHING. 

Many of us on the road to full salvation, our full inheritance in Christ
Jesus, get sidetracked and often spend considerable time in Babylon. (Some
never come out in this lifetime.) After being born from above by grace
through faith, a gift from God, we begin to try to finish the job with
religious stuff, Babylonian stuff, that is, dead works.

Instead of becomingmature sons of God (Rom. 8:19-21) through the Spirit of Truth, we follow"traditions of men which make the Word of God of no effect." (John 15:6-9)
While thinking we are doing the works of God, we actually produce the works
of the traditions of men which breed death. Thinking we are alive, we
actually become twice dead, carnally-minded (Rom. 8:6) and twice the sons of
hell (Gehenna, the Jerusalem city dump) as we were when we were in the
world. (Matt, 23:15)


The glory from the works of the law ended nearly 2,000 years ago--yet
millions of Christians still lust after it. Honor from men is mere vain
glory--it tarnishes almost immediately. But the Glory which comes from the
finished work of the cross which allows us to cease from our vain attempts
to glorify ourselves through fearing men and seeking their approval--this
glory, the glory of the Savior of the world--this glory whose weight flesh
cannot carry--this Glory--the Glory of the Son of God is eternal.

"Oh foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the
truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as
crucified? This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by
the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having
begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? (Gal
3:1-3) Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free,
and do NOT be entangled again in a yoke of bondage....You have become
estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by the law; you have
fallen from grace." (Gal. 5:1, 4)

Wouldn't it just break your heart that 2000 years on we still kill and murder and maim .......

If you have tears to shed shed them now ..............

We need certainly an answer to the twin problems of Government and Religion but man never could provide an answer and never will:

Oh for the coming again of one who will be both Prophet & King: A2000 year wait is almost over: come Lord Jesus ! Come!

The Head Of Every Man Is ---Who?

Just as His placeJ in glory is to be our destined place, so His place while on earth is our present  place (as we go through this sinful world) He was despised and rejected of men: Even so will everyone who wants to live Godly in Christ Jesus. Think about it! The body must experience the sufferings of the Head (not only in Africa or China but also here in Christian Ireland) to later enjoy the joy and blessings of the Head.  

In Phil 3:10ff.  Paul states he wants "to know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, conforming to His death,if somehow I should be attaining to the resurrection that is out from among the dead".

Remember Jesus had no form or comeliness to make him recognizable or an instant superstar. He was not a Scandinavian blonde haired, blue eyed God like creature wearing a white robe and soft sandals! He was to all intents and purposes a disgrace, a disaster and even His supporters hung their heads in shame at times as He did and said what was not cocher or politically correct: Our goal in these times is to be like Jesus in being spiritually correct rather than politically correct. 

If God has graciouslty granted you God Faith (Phil 1:29) then He has packaged it in an equally gracious gift of suffering: Are you mad Vincent?  

 He was rejected, not merely by the barbarian world, not merely by those who were living low, degraded lives, but also by the literary world, the cultured world, and the religious world. It was the religious leaders of the people who demanded His death, and all of the world acquiesced. The world continues to do so. It has its culture, its refinements, its civilization, its religion; but our blessed Lord is apart from it all, and the Word to us is this,

Let us go forth therefore unto Him without the camp,  {What does that mean?} bearing His reproach (Hebrews 13:13).


                 Three Verses From The Quran 

Imagine the scene: It takes place moments after you were saved. After you were conciliated with God. (2 Cor 5:18-21)The CEO and chief strategist of the Devil are in emergency session. It all concerns you:

"I just got word from the Dept. of Darkness (Eph 6:12) that light had exploded in him and he was instantly whisked away ..."

But can we still grasp him, drag him back down here?"

"Not a ghost of a chance! You see when that light makes contact the damage is already done: He literally left our area of jurisdiction at 4:18 pm. The only way to retrieve him now is to declare war on heaven and remember how that turned out last time. No way!"

Look! there are at least 127 heralders in this area alone. Hard to keep all under surveillance day and night. Full of rivers of life and bursting with living Rhema words we need special armour to even come near them! They don't rely on  any of our systems like TV or Radio. As far as we can gather it was a thin sliver of a young girl: She met him: Spoke for about 20 minutes about how God would leave the 99 and go in search of the last lost one! Told him of God's love for him etc.. ... and then she was gone: Simple as that"

"O.K, O.K. I get the message: No need for the sordid details. But what can we do now? Surely there's some retaliation plan"

"We figure he will probably be here on earth for 28 more years:During that time he is under two headships: Headship of Adam lacking glory and prone to sin and the headship of Christ bursting with life and light and victory:We are going to work on feeding the Adam nature so the other is diminished"

"And what good will that do to get him back?"

"You still don't get the picture: You will never get him back: All we can do now is limit or neutralise his effectivenes as a heralder:

"So we make him ineffective: But how?"

"It is imperative first of all, I repeat imperative, he never comes to the full realisation of who he really is now: If he grasps his new identity in Christ then I fear for the whole area and generations of darkness could be destroyed. This one is dangerous: Full of life!"

"What are you implying? We have had total control here for over 5700 years. Look around you: Fear and superstition and idolatry"

"Listen to me and listen well: There is an intensity of light shining out from this one I have never seen before. If he comes to know ..that he no longer lives but Christ lives in him ..and yields to Gods instructions then we are finished"

"So what! We have met his type before and neutralised them totally. remember Samson and how we destroyed him. You are my strategy officer: What steps do you propose to destroy this one?

"F.O.G? What is that?"

"International Groups using the name of Christ, having a Form Of Godliness ... but without any real power: In other words .."A fake form of Christianity"

"Are there branches of this F.O.G institution locally?"

"You are joking I presume. We have over 1470 in this country and several in this locality. I have already identified the one I will use"

"What's it called?"

"Oh God something over the door: Christ posters on the walls! Steeples and crosses and ceremonies but none of this living flow of the spirit ..and of course death on the menu in the pulpit"

"Wonderful work! But I hear from my sources that huge rivers of living waters are already gushing out from this one! These rivers must be closed off immediately do you hear. Immediately"

"We are at work but my agents have no protection against that Name He is using and the power of the blood and that armour of God he is wearing: (We are being destroyed) Three of my best agents blinded and already and one actually asking questions about Calvary and why his powers are greater than theirs"

"Don't even mention that Calvary Fiasco in my presence: Biggest mistake we ever made. We were humiliated and lost everything except the ability to deceive! "

"Understood master but rest assured, once he becomes settled in one of our F.O.G institutions all that nonsense about pulling down strongholds will fade away and he will become like all the rest.

"Yes I remember: We had it all set up so he would die angry and cursing all around but it backfired on us. He was the spark that brought thousands away from us, including that turn-coat Paul "

"Hope you have learned from these disasters: This must not happen here: Keep him focussed on how unfair and awful his life now is: How hard it is to be alone and all friends and colleagues gone:

"Swamp him in meetings and verses and good works for fear he would ever learn that "it no longer is himself but Christ who is doing the living" If that realisation breaks thro' we coiuld be seeing the great work of generations undone.

"Put a stop to this 1-2-1 WIFI or whatever he has with heaven. Replace it with F.O.G bible studies and discussions and parties"

"Good idea! That 1-2-1 is the powerhouse so we will shut it tight"

"That  KIC programme is excellent: (i.e. keep it complicated.) Our trained men will soon have him discussing -isms and dates and philosophy so he forgets where his power source really is"

O.K All sounds good: Any final words"

Blind him! Blind him! Never let him see who he really is in Christ. Keep him trying to perfect the old man: And stop any Elisha type praying for him or his eyes could be opened in spite of us.

Under The Circumstances?

"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are age-lasting" (II Corinthians 4:18).

The trials, severe as they may be at times, are just circumstances. Our English word “circumstance” is a compound word derived from “circum” (around; surrounding) and “stance” (to stand). Our circumstances are those things standing around us, those things which surround our walk.

We must remember that the events in our lives do not constitute who we are – they are merely the things that surround us in our walk. However, they are more than mere circumstances. Because Father has ordained them in our lives, they are thus divine circumstances. They are divine tests designed to be the pressing of Father’s hand to mold us into His grand purpose. (Phil 1:29) andf extricate us (like taking out a tooth) from this wicked Eon (Gal 1:4)

I used to rant against cruel circumstances crying out to God to deliver me from this awful evil (as I assumed). But lately I have come to realise I am under such a massive degree of protection from God that nothing will ever happen me that has not been sanctioned by Him. 

Since God is for me and He sanctions it then I know that being a good father He is not intent on teasing or hurting me: Rather He has some great purpose in mind and my prayer changes to be "in accordance with what must be" (Rom 8: ?)That way I can co-operate with God, find out what's really happening  and speed the necessary process so I can be rid of the pain.
